Photos below will show how busy we have been in the last couple of weeks. We have been coding, painting and understanding how to do long division. Our study of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ended on Friday with a critical viewing of the 1971 movie. I enjoyed breaking out the mini chocolate bars just as the characters were entering the Chocolate Room.
For the next couple days we'll be off schedule quite a bit.
Math will be various games and activities that cover a variety of skills.
Language Arts will include main idea and Holiday Task cards that cover skill such as capitalization, punctuation, & verbs.
There will be a science test Tuesday morning. We will have a Christmas party in the afternoon. The party will include a book exchange. Each child should bring a wrapped book that is labeled To: YOU From: (your child's name). The book should be suitable for either a boy or a girl.

| Psalm 100 tells us to "Worship the Lord with gladness: come before him with joyful songs." Once again the Christmas Program was very beautiful. I hope you felt the joy that I did Thursday night. Here are some photos you might not have gotten sitting back further. Thank you all for raising such amazing kids. We are having a great year, and I look forward to the second half. Peace to you and Merry Christmas. -Mrs. Lewis |
