I would love to see the faces of my students. If possible, we can meet daily via Google Meet. I'll include a link in the Google Classroom Stream a few minutes before 10am. Once we start on 3/31/20, I'm sure you will have lots of questions, and meeting live will be the best way to answer and help you.
During these "Act of God" days, you should be reading from the Epic! account I set up for us. You can find that class code in our Google Classroom. I've set up a section of books about National Parks. You can continue to work on your park packet using these resources. I've included other ideas and fun things to do. Check it out if you haven't already.
I hope you are keeping a bit of a schedule. I think of you all at 9:35am when my "recess" timer goes off and I jump on the treadmill for a few minutes. Mark Kelly, an astronaut who was on the International Space Station for over a year, suggested keeping a daily routine as a way to help with this solitude. He also recommended doing a craft or hobby for relaxation and keeping the mind active.
Stay home as much as possible. Hope this finds you well.
